Since 1989, donations have helped move Fanconi anemia from a little-known disease with few options to a disease with treatments that buy precious time for children and adults with FA.
When you donate to the Fund, your donations also have an impact on the lives of millions, as key genetic discoveries indicate potential links between Fanconi anemia and cancer development in the general population, such as breast, ovarian and pancreatic cancers.
All donations are tax deductible. The Fanconi Anemia Research Fund is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Our tax identification number is 93-0995453.
We envision a future in which we can prevent and/or eliminate the primary causes of death and disability in people with FA, enabling them to live full and productive lives. To us, the best way to do this is by funding research. That’s why most of our budget is committed to research. We also support families by providing them with education and other services, like our annual family camp and our meeting for adults with FA.
