Sherri first came to Oregon as an undergraduate student at the University of Oregon, where she earned degrees in International Relations and Spanish. After graduation, her wanderlust led her to go explore overseas. She returned to Oregon after spending five years in Brussels, Belgium, where she studied foreign languages and earned her Master’s degree in Communications. She is responsible for all of FARF’s marketing and communications, including publications, website, and social media. She also works closely with the fundraising team and with the International FA Network. "What I love about working at FARF is our fantastic, driven team, and the relationships I get to develop with FA families. I’m excited by the growth of the organization, both in the US and abroad, and am honored to be a part of expanding its outreach and impact."
A wannabee foodie, Sherri is enthusiastic about trying new recipes and sharing meals and great conversation with family and friends. She spends weekends exploring new places in Oregon, making progress on her "to read" list, or working on overambitious DIY projects.
What are you known for around the office?
All the lists. I've never met a color-coded chart I didn't love (or reorganize).
